Sierra Hygiene Products is constantly working to improve our products and services to better serve our customers. Here are some of the most recent announcements we’ve made:
New Hygenics Foaming Hand Sanitizer
December 2009

Sierra Hygiene Products is proud to announce the launch of our new Hygenics Foaming Hand Sanitizer. This new product is ALCOHOL FREE, so it eliminates the safety hazards and dried skin problems associated with alcohol based hand sanitizers.

Hygenics Foaming Hand Sanitizer uses BZT (benzethonium chloride) as its active ingredient. BZT has proven to be much more effective than alcohol, with the following benefits:

  • BZT will not dry out the skin like alcohol does
  • BZT has unprecedented efficacy with a 99.99% kill rate on Staph
  • Hygenics Hand Sanitizer cleans, as well as moisturizes hands
  • BZT is not irritating
  • BZT leaves skin soft and smooth
  • BZT has residual antibacterial activity of 2 to 4 hours after application

This new sanitizer system is available in a 1000 ml dispenser cartridge and a 50 ml personal size. During the launch, we are offering one free 1000 ml dispensers with each case of 1000 ml cartridges purchased. Of course, our sales reps are available for field training, sales meetings etc.

Ne Manufacturing and Distribution Center Opens

Sierra Hygiene Products proudly is produ to announce our new manufacturing and distribution center in Frostburg, Maryland. This new, state of the art facility will serve Eastern North America, Ocean Export, and act as a feeder plant for our Canadian Operations. The Frostburg operation is unique in that virtually everything that enters, will leave as finished goods, or go to a recycling center. The only thing that will be thrown in the trash will be lunchroom waste. Sierra choose Frostburg because of its geographical location and excellent labor pool.
New Hygenics Sensor Dispenser
October 2007
Sierra Hygiene Products proudly announces the new Hygenics Sensor Dispenser. The new Sensor is the first hands-free electronic dispenser with a Manual Override Lever for use when the batteries run out. The Hygenics Sensor features a large detection zone for easy reliable operation. It dispenses flat, pre-measured sheets of paper which reduce waste and overuse, and the towel sheet size can be adjusted three ways. This system’s high capacity reduces labor time and cost. Web Site is Launched
January 2007
Sierra Hygiene Products announces the launch of their company web site. The web site is designed to serve current customers, as well as provide information for potential new customers. Current customers will have password access to specifications, graphics, literature, video clips, forms and sales tools. Potential new customers can get a snapshot of what Sierra Hygiene Products does, and who we are.
Hygenics Hand Towel Systems
June 2006
The Hygenics Hand Towel Systems offer significant improvements over their predecessors. We’ve made them stronger, quieter, and more durable. They are great controlled usage systems for end-customers who prefer a flat towel over centerfeed. Both of these high capacity, “No-Touch” systems feature portion control and “one towel will dry the hands” performance. Hygenics systems are ADA and HACCP compliant.
New Compact Centerfeed Hand Towel System
April 2005
Sierra Hygiene Products is proud to announce the launch of our new Compact Centerfeed Hand Towel System. This system is identical to our highly successful Standard Centerfeed System, but it is much more compact in size. Designed for areas where space is limited, the Compact Centerfeed Systems allows end-users to enjoy the numerous benefits of “no-touch” centerfeed hand towels in areas where standard dispensers will not fit. The new CCD-050 can be mounted to dispense towels from the top or bottom to give addition mounting options to our customers.
